WarmaHordes INC!

It appears I'm addicted to buying and painting Mini's
The Hordes 2player box just came out and I couldn't resist so guess I'm gonna be a Hordes player soon as well.

It pays to think ahead.

So I took this Cultist out to Dip figuring I'd like to see how it turns out before doing then next two.

I however wasn't paying attention to the fact my box I use for priming and dipping had to much green primer inside the box from preping the Reptus Army.

So after dipping I set the mini in the box and a big gust of wind swirled around as I was walking back in the house.
When I put the mini on my work table to touch up the excess Dip I noted all these green specs stuck in the varnish!!!ARRGGGGG!

I guess the build up of colored primer was turning to powder and the wind stirred it up and blew it all over the mini.
So now one of the cultists appears to have walked thru a Green Molds Spore attack..

Such is life.

Welp decided to try and finish off Asahrdalon before moving farther with warlord armies.
Got most of the base coat down,
Now comes the part I need alot of practice with , highlighting that doesn't look like paint by numbers.
Fun stuff

Reptus Starter Army

Finished up assembly and basing of the Reptus Army..and got them primed..now just need to actually paint them looking good so far.

Transparent Mini's with back lighting

Heres some skells with 2 different white/blue LED behind and a Red LED light behind.
All 3 are the same as the centered one..this is just to demenstrate how translusent they are.

Things just got a little clearer

Got a new mag lamp from princess auto of all places. On sale for 50$
Very happy so far this should make painting a lot easier.

Welp here we begin. Whats the point of this blog? For now simply a place to record my progress in learning to paint Miniatures.
I decided to paint a few boardgame components and enjoyed it and am moving onto full fledged miniatures.
 I suspect I won't say much and will simply post pics of works in progress as I go for now.

So with out further ado. Here is the start of Warlords Nefsokar Army Based and Primed.

Off to a good start.
I Am working on the Reptus starter set as well, but its requiring a lot of filing , gluing and assembly..will post pics of progress.
